Logo design for a new academic journal published by the MIT Press
Louis Armstrong Music Festival
I teamed up with two other designers to work on the branding and collateral for the inaugural Louis Armstrong International Music Festival in Queens. These are the logos that I designed, and a poster that I created using the logo that was chosen (the logo that the client chose was designed by one of my fellow designers).
Institute of Contemporary Art
These are two collateral systems for events at the Institute of Contemporary Art / Boston.
International rescue Committee
This is a selection of reports that I designed for the International Rescue Committee, including a report set in Arabic.
Boston Public Library StorySlam
A set of collateral for the first annual Boston Public Library StorySlam. Materials included a poster, one-color print ad, web banner, postcard, and program.
Partners In Health
While working as a Designer for PIH, I created this collection of cards to promote the Program Management Guide, a vast resource of knowledge and lessons learned about how to do what PIH does.
I also refreshed an existing textbook design to create the new Maternal Mortality Reduction Program Assistant curriculum, a 7-day curriculum used to train community health workers in Lesotho. It includes a Facilitator's Manual, Participant Handbook, Flipcharts, and PowerPoint, in both English and Sesotho.
Red Fire Farm
Red Fire Farm is an organic farm and CSA in western Massachusetts. They have a large and growing subscriber base in the Boston area and need a more modern brand that will speak more directly to their young, smart customer base, while not alienating the communities in which they work. The system includes a new logo, stationery, website, email templates, and tote bag.
This is a collateral system for a hypothetical three-day event called CRINGE. The event would be centered around adults reading from their middle-school and high-school journals, and would raise money for youth writing programs. The system conveys the deep mortification that we all felt and some of us explicated in our journals at that age. It includes a poster, invitation, ticket, and blank journal (which you would receive if you were to attend the second day's event: a writing workshop).
This is an identity system for Velomir, a custom bike company. Velomir draws the bike enthusiast who is more interested in building his or her ideal bicycle than buying into a larger brand. The system includes a pocket folder, stationery system and catalog, and website.
Boston Film Festival
A prototype of the website and app for the Boston International Film Festival.
